The rules listed below are the basic set of rules.
ALWAYS keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction.
ALWAYS keep the firearm unloaded until ready to use.
ALWAYS keep your fingers outside of the trigger guard until ready to shoot.
Firearms MUST be unloaded before taken to the firing point. When "Dry Firing", Firearms MUST be pointed down range. No smoking will be allowed on the firing point. No Alcoholic beverages will be allowed on the firing point. Pistols will remain holstered or in designated places, unless otherwise directed by the range officer. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should Firearms be handled while ANYONE IS DOWN RANGE. If spoken to on the firing line, DO NOT TURN AROUND TO MAKE YOUR REPLY. All loading MUST be done on the firing line facing DOWN RANGE. Firearms MUST be unloaded and MADE SAFE before being "Benched":- ◦A. Revolvers - cylinder out, chambers empty; ◦B. Autos - slide open, magazine removed; ◦C. Rifles - bolt open, breech empty. No weapon can be loaded, unless on the firing line and COMMANDED by the DESIGNATED RANGE OFFICER to do so. Absolute discipline MUST be maintained.
VIOLATORS OF ANY SAFETY RULES WILL BE DENIED THE RIGHT TO CONTINUE SHOOTING.
