B.R.P.F. Paint Ball is SPEED BALL

Speed Ball as the name implies is a test of nerve. A head on enemy in an open space with obstacles as your only hiding place! It's a fast paced all-out war that demands awareness, strategy and most of all speed. Are you fast enough?
Our field is 50 metres by 30 metres surrounded by concrete walls wire fence and mesh. The game layout is always changing. It's an extreme game, are you up to the challenge?

What is Paintball?

Paintball is a game developed in the 1980s in which players eliminate opponents from play by hitting them with dye-filled, breakable, oil and gelatin paint balls, or pellets, usually shot from a carbon dioxide or compressed air (Nitrogen) powered "paintball marker".  Game types in paintball vary, but can include capture the flag, elimination, ammunition limits, defending or attacking a particular point or area, or capturing objects of interest hidden in the playing area.

Registration

There are three (3) types of registrations:
Open Reservations - reservations made on the same day Booked Reservations - reservations made in advance, which require a non-refundable deposit to be paid at least 2 days in advance of the reservation date (by the Thursday before the reservation date).
Private Reservations (for groups of 8 persons) - similar to booked reservations and only persons in the particular group(s) will be allowed to play at that time.
Members who are financial and have registered once, will not be required to re-register at each play.
Please note that paintball participants who arrive late for their reservations will lose their reservation time and will be accommodated at the next available time slot.

* Deposits are not redeemable in paint balls for those players who do not attend on the booked playing date.

Type of Field

Speedball - As a fast game full of adrenaline, speedball is played on a man-made plain decorated with barricades.  The game is also known as Combat.  Teams usually consist of 3, 5 or 7 players however our local games will be played with teams of 4 players.  Since both teams can see each other, the game is played at an extremely fast pace.  This type of battle has gained popularity in the 90s and is still preferred by more advanced players.

What to wear?
*             Head Scarf or Bandana
*             Short Sleeve Shirt and Long Sleeve Shirt
*             Long Pants (loose fitting)
*             Shoes (fully enclosed)

*             Paintball Face Mask
*             Paintball Marker
*             Barrel Sock
*             Air Tank
*             Chest Protector
*             Paintballs

Safety Rules
1.            Alcohol is strictly forbidden before, and during play.
2.            Wear mask at all times during play.
3.            Allow all 'surrenders'.
4.            No blind firing.
5.            Use barrel socks.
6.            No shooting less than 6 feet.
7.            No physical interaction whatsoever is allowed between players.
8.            Referees are not to be hit under any circumstances.
